The WM6500 combines Visiontron’s longest automatically retracting belt with rugged outdoor-ready construction and a swivel mounting system. It is designed for large openings where conventional wall mounts cannot provide enough coverage and a fixed pull direction would limit the installation.
The WM6500 extends up to 65', providing a highly visible barrier across large indoor or outdoor areas without a line of freestanding posts.
The WM6500’s built-in brake slows belt retraction to provide a safer, more controlled return than an unregulated long-belt mechanism.
When installed in the required WP6500 mounting bracket, the WM6500’s mounting rod passes through the bracket and can be positioned at the desired angle. Once locked in place, the head directs the belt across openings that are not perpendicular to the mounting surface.
Rugged aluminum construction and an outdoor-ready Smooth Black finish prepare the WM6500 for demanding interior and exterior environments.
The WM6500 is backed by a 10-year limited warranty and supported with individual replacement components.
The WM6500 body installs on a mounting rod that allows the head to swivel with the direction of belt pull. Wall installations require the WP6500 mounting bracket, sold separately; the body can be removed from the bracket with common tools for transport between prepared locations.
Select the connection that fits the receiving location. The loop belt end is standard and uses the RE6500 receiver; the universal end uses a standard RE receiver; the S-hook attaches directly to compatible structures without a receiving end.
