A Legacy of Innovation and Commitment

The Beginning

Visiontron was established over 60 years ago with a mission to create innovative and reliable solutions for crowd control, queuing, and signage. In 1992, the business was purchased by the Torsiellos, a dedicated family who brought a fresh vision and passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and customer care. Now in its third generation of family ownership, Visiontron continues to thrive under the same guiding principles of quality and integrity.

Crafted with Care: A Family-Led Business

For over 30 years, Visiontron has been proudly family-owned, a distinction that shapes every aspect of our business. Being family-led means we’re personally invested in every product we create and every relationship we build. We believe in delivering more than just solutions; we strive to provide exceptional service and long-lasting partnerships.

What sets Visiontron apart is our relentless focus on quality and customization. Every product we create—from our iconic RETRACTA-BELT® stanchions to our custom signage solutions—is designed and manufactured under one roof in our state-of-the-art facility. This vertical integration allows us to maintain strict quality control, minimize lead times, and ensure every product meets the highest standards.

Driven by Innovation and Collaboration

At Visiontron, innovation is at the core of what we do. Over the years, we’ve introduced industry-leading features like EVERstraight® Technology and rotary damper brakes, designed to improve the reliability and functionality of our products. Visiontron was also among the pioneers to offer the 10′ retractable belt stanchion, setting a higher standard for efficiency in queue management.

Many of our most successful solutions have come from close collaborations with our customers. Whether it’s creating a custom baggage sizer for Gridiron Air or designing durable panels that have stood the test of time at JFK Airport, we work hand-in-hand with clients to provide solutions that truly fit their needs.

Sustainability and Longevity: Built for the Future

We don’t believe in disposable solutions. Visiontron products are built to last, with many still in use decades after installation. Our upcycle and recycling programs ensure that even at the end of a product’s lifecycle, its components can find new life, reducing waste and supporting sustainability. It’s this commitment to longevity—backed by warranties like our 10-Year Guarantee—that makes Visiontron a trusted partner for organizations around the globe.

Guiding Millions Every Day

From bustling airports and stadiums to museums and theaters, Visiontron products guide millions of people every day. Whether it’s enhancing safety at TSA checkpoints, creating elegant VIP zones, or helping travelers navigate complex spaces, our solutions are there to keep people moving, informed, and secure.

Why Visiontron?

At Visiontron, we’re not just about selling products—we’re about creating partnerships. Our mission is simple: to provide solutions that blend functionality, durability, and design, empowering our clients to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional experiences.

We’re built different because we care. Care about quality. Care about our customers. Care about creating solutions that last.

American manufacturing at its best.

We design, manufacture, and inventory the majority of our work in our 80,000 sq. ft. plant on Long Island, New York. This means prompt production and fast deliveries, and also allows for both mass production and mass customization. A 24-hour turn-around is becoming our standard response, even when the order includes custom work. Our in-house engineering team will work with you to produce the exact product for your company’s needs. Learn more

Where in the world is Visiontron? Everywhere!

You can find RETRACTA-BELT® stanchions, our signature product line, around the globe in airports, casinos, hotels, museums, hospitals, theme parks, stadiums, Fortune 500 companies, Wal-Mart, Verizon stores, Macy’s, Dunkin Donuts, Best Buy and anywhere else people gather.

But we’re much more than just posts. We manufacture a wide variety of other stanchions, wall mounts, traditional post and ropes, safety barriers, luggage sizers, floor mats, information boards, signs and sign holders, gateboards, and much more.

We maintain a full inventory of standard and specialty “people guidance” equipment and signage, and a large amount of our work is customized to meet each individual customers need.

What’s with the penguin?

We are a friendly bunch and don’t take ourselves too seriously, but when it comes to people guidance solutions, we are confident pros. So, what does that have to do with our tuxedoed mascot?

Like us, penguins are loyal, team-players who listen intently and survive by adapting.

LOYAL

Penguins are extremely loyal to their home and colony.

Us: We design, manufacture, assemble and inventory under the same roof as our customer service and sales teams.

TEAM PLAYERS

Penguins are instinctually team players, making sure that each in their waggle (yes, that is what it is called!) are safely cared for equally.

Us: Taking care of our large family—from employees to vendors to customers—is also built into our DNA.

GREAT LISTENERS

Also similarly, penguins have excellent hearing and communication skills with their mates.

Us: We provide on-point solutions based on our customers needs because we LISTEN.

TRUE SURVIVORS

The first penguin fossil is identified as being over 60 million years old—that means they were around around before dinosaurs, surviving dino extinction!

Us: While we are not that old, we’ve been in the industry for over 60 years and adapt to technology and contemporary customer needs.

What’s in a name?

When Visiontron began back in the 60’s, airport personnel were writing on chalkboards to post arrival and departure times. The owners of the company could clearly see that there had to be a better way. That vision resulted in the company manufacturing mechanical signs for use in airports around the world. So they made ”vision” the first part of the company name thinking it would remind them to never stop looking into future. As for “tron”, well, way back then, it just sounded cool.

Our product line has expanded a great deal over the past half century but we’re still Visiontron. And, despite the occasional call to our front desk asking if we’re in the eyewear business, Visiontron is here to stay.
