The 1” x 2” beams are made from heavy gauge aluminum to provide a solid and sturdy barrier.
Q-BEAMs seamlessly integrate with existing RETRACTA-BELT® posts, allowing them to be purchased as an add-on or as a complete system with four-way receiving posts.
Universal End Block easily attaches to any RETRACTA-BELT post and allows approximately 15 degrees of swing in both directions. You can upgrade to a locking EZ Off End Block to prevent tampering.
Additionally, Q-BEAM systems can have either portable sloped bases, or, for a more permanent solution, you can choose from MINI-SOCKET®, MAGNETIC, FIXED or REMOVABLE post mounted options. Learn more about our base styles.

Q-BEAM® systems create a more rigid queue barrier than retractable belts or ropes.
EZ Off End Blocks come standard, allowing for easier removal and installation of Q-BEAMs onto RETRACTA-BELT® posts.
