When Caesars transformed The Cromwell into The Vanderpump Hotel, the objective extended beyond a visual refresh. Every material, finish, and environmental detail played a role in shaping the atmosphere guests would associate with the space, including how VIP areas and guest boundaries were defined.
Visiontron worked closely with the Caesars team to develop a custom solution centered around our HD Classic Post & Rope system. The final configuration featured a custom finish, Naugahyde ropes, custom-finished snap ends, and a heavy clear coating for added outdoor protection.
This project required more than selecting an attractive finish. The solution needed to feel integrated into the environment, support VIP space definition, withstand outdoor exposure, and maintain the elevated atmosphere expected within a premium hospitality destination.
Visiontron delivered a custom rope barrier system built around aesthetics, durability, and environmental cohesion.
Traditional crowd control products are designed primarily around function. For Vanderpump at Caesars, the challenge was creating a custom-designed VIP rope barrier solution that provided subtle access management while supporting a refined hospitality experience.
The barriers needed to match the new design direction, avoid visually competing with the environment, maintain durability in outdoor conditions, and preserve the premium guest experience.
Visiontron developed a custom configuration centered around our CPHD40S HD Classic Post & Rope system.
The selected configuration featured a custom antique brass finish paired with black Naugahyde ropes and custom-finished snap ends. Together, the elements created a unified appearance throughout the installation that complemented the environment rather than competed with it.
Because portions of the application required additional environmental durability, the posts also received a heavy clear protective coating to help preserve the finish and maintain appearance over time.
Every design decision supported the larger objective: making functional elements feel intentional within the guest experience.
Custom finishes helped the post and rope system feel integrated into the hospitality setting.
A heavy clear coating helped preserve the custom finish in exposed conditions.
The barriers defined VIP areas without adding unnecessary visual clutter.
Posts, ropes, snap ends, and protective finishes were tailored to the project instead of forcing a standard product to fit.
Premium hospitality environments often demand more than standard products. When barriers, finishes, and environmental details are considered as part of the overall experience, functional requirements become opportunities to reinforce branding and atmosphere.
This project demonstrates how custom finishes, outdoor protection, and thoughtful design can help necessary operational elements become part of a more cohesive guest experience.
